In one of the busses I heard it was you who was in charge of the organization of the Long Night of Architecture and especially for the guides being in the busses. Thats why I address myself to you:
A big commendation to you, everything worked out very well and the flyers were very clearly and in an adequate amount available. The bus stops were marked perfectly and the busses really did drive every 15 minutes. So you could risk getting off and on again stopping at an interesting building.
The guides could give you nice, funny and most important information about the next stop in the filled busses. They also had a lot of extra knowledge i.e. about the line up management, snack offers etc.
In the Central Tower they shortly reorganized the whole programme and opened more floors when the big crowd entered- thats what I heard in the elevator on the way to the 23rd floor from an organizer of the building.
All in all it was a very interesting long night, great selection of buildings, good route guiding, capable guides and open minded people from the participating buildings.
In the Hotel Bayerischer Hof they did not get upset about all the mudlanes from the front desk to the wellness area- except for some hotel guests who occationally shaked their heads.
Please express my gratitude to all the other involved persons.
I was really impressed by the organization, how everything worked out and what you were able to see- and all for free!
Hopefully you are able to repeat something like that.
